You Want My Picture Banana?

Helaman 5:8
And now my sons, behold have somewhat more to desire of you, which desire is,
that ye may not do these things that ye may boast, but that ye may do these things to  lay up for yourselves treasure in heaven, yea, which is eternal, and which fadeth not  away; yea, that ye may have that precious gift of eternal life, which we have reason to
suppose hath been given to our fathers.

This week has been really good!!

Teaching-
Pandora & Harry: they are probably about 17/18. They are really good. Both Scottish. Going to college, really interested and open about God.
Marco- going to Ungola and going to meet with missionaries there.
Nick- really good, he has lots of questions! He bought us dinner!
Alyssa- good, going to watch the prophet of the restoration! Its going to be good.
Rena- good, she has liquid in her lungs, but doesn't seemed to concerned...I would be.
Elsie- she is funny as always, says she needs a kick in the butt to get her to come back to church..haha
Maree- good, she has been sick, but is finally getting better!

Sister Cheve says the quote from Back to the Future, and I've never seen it, but I'm pretty sure it's translated wrong she says, "You want my picture banana?" So..we are getting shirts with that on it!

She is soo funny and works so hard! I'm so grateful for her as a companion!!

We went to a castle last Monday which was beautiful!

It's Always Pouring Buckets

Alma 26:36-37
36 Now if this is boasting, even so will I boast; for this is my life and my light, my joy and my salvation, and my redemption from everlasting wo. Yea, blessed is the name of my God, who has been mindful of this people, who are a branch of the tree of Israel, and has been lost from its body in a strange land; yea, I say, blessed be the name of my God, who has been mindful of us, wanderers in a strange land.
37 Now my brethren, we see that God is mindful of every people, whatsoever land they may be in; yea, he numbereth his people, and his bowels of mercy are over all the earth. Now this is my joy, and my great thanksgiving; yea, and I will give thanks unto my God forever. Amen
The Lord is truly mindful of me and my situation and being in such a "strange land"

Friends-those we teach:
Nick- he is Greek orthodocs. Although he doesn't really practice it. He is from Lithuania and speaks Russian! He is working here as a chief, and really nice!
Marco- will be going back to Ungola and get baptized there. He is good!
Alyssa- accepted a date for baptism for the 3 of October!
then a couple people we met and will hopefully teach this week
Terri &  Courtney- mother and daughter. Believes in God, and goes to church every week, but likes learning about all religions!
Emma- really nice, she works full time and has a friend who is mormon!
Nynda- She is from a really big family, and wanted to learn how family are forever
Pandora & Henry- street performers! believes in God and wants to learn how he speaks to us!

Less Actives:
Rena-is doing well, she is ill so she didn't make it to church
Elsie- we were able to contact again (yay)
Maree- really good, excited to have Alyssa baptized!
Hendrys- Part Member Family we just started meeting with

Other Things:
not super funny, but we totally got lost trying to go to a dinner appointment with Sister Turnball, and just ended up going home to get food, because it was pouring buckets, not before we got out and explored a near by forest, and got stung by some strange plant, and took pictures of course! My driving is getting better....
People thought we were nuns again....ha..oh dear..no sir we aren't training to be nuns, and a drunk man tried to kiss me...what a week!

Thank you again for all you do! Hope you have a great week!
